All right, since the battery for the laptop they have at the hospital is still not completely charged, they asked me to update you all on what's happening.

The doctor finished his more extensive examination of Sarcasm, and found a couple of areas aside from his fingers where he had some pressure. It wasn't a strong feeling, and he felt no pain from the pinpricks, but it's better than it was. His upper body is what is reacting to all of this, and there's nothing lower than his shoulders that is, but this is certainly a good sign. It's far sooner than they expected anything, so that's a big hope right there to latch onto. I don't think the Malcontents have felt this kind of hope since it all first started, and they deserve to bask in it awhile. Sarcasm's spirits have soared rather nicely, so we're all in celebratory mode. The doctor stressed very strongly that this doesn't mean that he's going to recover completely, or even beyond this, but hope is what it is, and it's making everyone grow more optimistic. Sarcasm has been fighting very hard for this, and that's more than half the battle. If anything, he'll be fighting all the harder from here on out.

It's about time we had some good news here, so we're wringing everything out of it that we can. I hope you all do as well, since you've been with us on this extremely bumpy ride.
